• When using a lot of conditioner, make sure to rinse it out, or your hair will look 
  • Do not brush your hair excessively or it will become thick and poofy. It will also damage your hair.
  • If you are doing sports, try tying your hair back, because when you sweat it can easily damage your hair. If you find this boring try adding clips and ribbons to make it more fun.
  • Use hairspray to tidy up your wispy bits of hair, but don't use too much or it will make your hair sticky and greasy.
  • When doing curls or straightening make sure to not leave any bits even half done or it may ruin the whole thing!
  • Use a soft tee or clean cotton towel instead of body or rigid towels, keeping hair frizz free.
  • Do not use excessive amounts of hairspray before you curl. This may also damage hair. Of course, you can do it on special occasions but you could ruin your hair for the special occasions if you do it all the time.
  • Excessive brushing, heat styling, or backcombing/teasing can all damage your hair; try to keep them to a minimum.
  • Do not straighten or curl your hair when wet, unless your styling iron instructions say that it is safe to do so.
  • Don't spend a lot of money on hair products when you can get less expensive ones that sometimes work the same.
